I GO TOKYO
I Go Tokyo is a unique boutique that brings high-quality Japanese linens, stationery, ceramics, and distinctive Kawaii (cute) items to Chattanooga. Our mission is to embrace Japanese culture by facilitating learning experiences and offering innovative products.
Words from the owner: "One night I had a dream and woke up to a pop of “I Go Tokyo” in my mind as the name for a Japanese imports unique boutique. As I was looking for a new adventure, I grabbed my friend Jenna and went to Japan for 5 weeks where we shopped til our suitcases were full. During that time I was further immersed in Japanese culture, style and fashion. Once back in Chattanooga, I reached out for an interpreter and met my now friend Etsuko, on the right. Soon she became a cornerstone of I Go Tokyo by sharing her knowledge of retail, her Japanese culture and discovering her newfound skill of facilitating and purchasing goods. She has helped fill our shelves with products, some their first representation in the US. She has also helped provide fun and educational classes all while being a wonderful friend. Even though it has been a challenge to start my own business, I have met incredible people all over the world and locally who support this crazy dream. I hope you walk into the store and feel the same joy I did upon seeing the amazing quality, skill and kawaii (cuteness) that so many Japanese products have to offer."
ASYLUM SALON
This is part of the design package created for the Asylum Salon in Crossville, TN. The Asylum Salon has been owned and operated by Janet Manning for almost 20 years now. In 2001 she opened the doors to her business and she has stayed loyal to her clients and true to her values and professionalism ever since. Since 2001 she has remained at the same location on Peavine Road. Over the last year, she has had her salon completely remodeled to provide an exceptional experience for all of her clients.
It only seemed right for her website, logo and brand to have some remodeling done as well. While creating her new website we wanted to create a design that symbolized what the Asylum Salon is, a peaceful, elegant, personal, and professional hair salon.
